Narrative Text "An Unseeing Boy"

Once upon a time, in a village there lived an unseeing boy. His name is Steve. He was fifteen years old. He lived with his grandmother. His grandmother loved him so much because he was a kind and diligent boy. He always helped his grandmother.

One day, Steve went to the jungle. He want to looked for branches. His stick always accompanied him whereever he go.

 Suddenly, he heared a voice.,“Hiks....hiks...hiks...hiks...hiks...”,

“What is it?”,asked Steve to himself. He felt so curious. Then, he walked slowly to looked for the source of voice. When he was near the tree, the voice was louder.

“ Hallo…anybody here”, asked Steve.

“Yes, I’m hear. Help me please!”, said the voice.

“Who are you and what’s wrong with you ?”, asked Steve again.

“My name is Angle. My foot sprained.”, said the voice. Actually the voice was a little girl who was be crying. She wanted to go home but she couldn’t walk by herself. So, she hoped someone could help her to go home. 

“ Don’t worry, I will help you with pleasure. Now, climbed into my back. I will accompany you to go home.”, said Steve.

“ Are you sure?, but my house is far from here. It is about three kilometres”, said the girl.

“ Oh don’t worry, I am unseeing. I will not know how far your house from here. So, I will not feel tired”, said Steve to make sure.

After that the little girl climbed into Steve’s back and he began to walk slowly. Although he was an unseeing boy, he knew the way well because everyday he always came to the jungle. Along the way, Steve tried to amuse the little girl. Steve was also a humourist people, the little girl was so happy.

Thirty minutes later. They arrived in a river. They must crossed the river to arrived in her house. Steve felt confuse to crossed the river. “ Do you see something that can be used to cross the river?”, asked Steve. The little girl felt confuse too. They was kept quiet a moment.

Few minutes later, the little girl saw the wood floated on the river. She thought that the wood could help them to cross the river. So, she asked Steve to took the wood. Because Steve was unseeing, he had a little problem to took the wood. But, finally he can took the wood and used it to crossed the river and raw with his stick.

In the middle of river, they met a crocodile. The crocodile approached them slowly. The little girl looked so afraid. “ Oh no...there is a crocodile.”, said the little girl panic. “Don’t worry, he will not eat us, he will help us to cross the river.”, said Steve.

Actually, the crocodile was Steve’s friend. Then, the crocodile pushed the wood to the riverbank. The little girl felt so surprise. It was the new experience for her. “ wow...amazing...I like it...”

Few minutes later they arrived at riverbank. “ Thank you crocodile. See you next time...”, said Steve and the little girl. After that they continued their journey.

Ten minutes later they arrived to little girl’s house.” Thank you so much. Wait a moment, I will put a glass of water for you”, said the little girl. “ Oke thanks”.

The little girl gave a glass of water to Steve. Steve drank it. After that there was a strange moment. Steve saw a fold light and slowly he could see around. He felt so surprise. He could’nt believe it. “ Oh thanks God.but where is Angle?”

After gave a glass of water, the little girl disappeared. When Steve was looking for the little girl, suddenly he heared a voice,” This is a gift from God for you because you always help others with pleasure. Now, come back to your house. Your grandmother has been waiting fo your coming.”

“ Oh thanks God. I will use my eyes to help others.”, said Stave. After that he went home quickly. Arrived at home, his grandmother felt so surprise. She can’t believe it but she was so happy. Finally, they life happily.
